Cheers to the Weekend!
Happy Weekend! I've decided to do a new little segment each week as sort of a weekly summary. You know...to help us get to know each other better.
First off, I'm hearing you loud and clear and I love it. Coming very soon to the blog will be a "how to" for my messy bun as well as how I organized my pantry. I love these little suggestions and please keep them coming!
I hope you all have had a great week and are looking forward to an enjoyable weekend with family and friends. I'm still having a major date with the washing machine as Man Child just returned from camp. I'm also determined to have my house "tight and right" by the end of the weekend. Most people would say it already is but my husband and I are both a little OCD in that area and we are both good with that. It's just easier for me to relax and enjoy things when my house is in order. Other than that, it will most likely be a quiet, rainy weekend here for us in Houston. And actually, that sounds pretty wonderful because there is a lot I'm looking forward to next week and I want to be well rested! Our sweet little labradoodle contracted some sort of eye infection and he seems loopy from the antibiotics. Not sure what our Father's Day plans are...we have not gotten that far yet. How do you celebrate? I'm open to ideas if you have any. What do you buy for the men in your life. Gifts for men has never been my strong suit. But ladies, never worry...I've got the girls covered...at any age!
On my mind lately:
1. Recovering the chairs in my entrance hall; a new piece of furniture is being delivered next week and one project always begets another!
3. Making these. Oh my gosh...they look so good! An #elevatedbasic after my own heart.
4. This book which has been so incredibly helpful to one of our girls.
5. And THIS HOUSE....it's not big or fancy (not by WaterColor standards anyway) but it feels "just right".
