Mixing High's & Low's
I love clothes and getting dressed up just as much as the next girl but I do not believe every single thing has to be expensive or come from a high end department store. While I never skimp on jeans, top and bags are fair game. There is nothing like finding that fabulous find...that piece that looks like a million bucks but you look at the tag again because you can't believe your eyes. That was the case on a recent trip to Target when I spied this blouse on my way out of the store. I couldn't steer by buggy over fast enough. The blouse comes in at under $23 but could fetch $230 at certain department stores...yes...the quality is that good. Just pair it with a little white or nude camisole as it's totally sheer. In this photo, I'm wearing it with my cropped J Brand jeans and these darling sandals {which are also on major sale}. And the bag...well, that's from Target too! I purchased it back in the spring but it's still available and comes in black and eggplant as well and is priced at just under $40. We were headed to Singapore and I decided it was perfect for traveling. Over the years I have grown averse to slinging my good bags under airplane seats or stuffing them in a pod somehow. It's large enough to hold your makeup bag and toiletries and once you arrive makes a great carry all for shopping. Every single time I carry it I get compliments and people are shocked when I tell them it's from Target. If it's good...it's good. Don't be afraid to wear something because it doesn't have the right "label" or come from the right store. My closet runs the gamut from high end designer pieces to fabulous finds from Target and I wear them all just as proudly and with the same confidence and you should too. But first, you need this blouse to do it...don't miss out on this one; it's just TOO GOOD!
P.S.: Share with me how you style it! I would love to know. I think I will wear my blouse again this week with my white Rag and Bone cutoffs...because it's just so hot and muggy here in Houston this week!
