Cheers to the Weekend!
Well guys another week has come and gone and I hope yours was fabulous. I'm especially looking forward to tonight as my husband has been at his offices in Belgium and the Netherlands all week and will return home early evening. We will enjoy and quiet evening in just catching up. Check out my stories to see what I will be making....so easy and yummy!
Last night I had the pleasure of having dinner with the most beautiful and talented person inside and out that I never would have had the opportunity to meet if it weren't for this blog. That's by far the best part of this...the connections. We were two peas in a pod to say the least and I'm looking forward to creating more memories. She too is an interior designer and we could have talked the night away! As for the rest of my week, it was largely spent getting organized and prepared for the children to move back to school. So many things to do. They are all excited and looking forward to the new school year. Pete and I are also getting excited about the "empty nest". We are embracing it and going to Italy to celebrate it. Well....and his birthday and our anniversary. But, the bottom line is we are embracing it rather than mourning it. More to come on that later.
