I love “Date Night”.  I really do.  In fact, I look forward to it all week.  Sometimes I know exactly where we are going and have a very specific outfit in mind for a particular event.  Other times, I have no clue what to expect.  A formula that works well and in nearly any situation is a great pair of jeans, a silk blouse and statement heels.

I love this halter neck top from Express.  The neck can be tied three or four ways so depending on your mood you can have a little fun with it.  The jeans and top alone are just a little meh.  The statement sandals really pull this look together and set the tone.  These feather sandals from Top Shop are very on trend, keeping things current and adding a pop of color.  All you left to do is grab a clutch and throw on some jewelry.  I love unique and harder to find pieces and going vintage is a great way to do it.  The cuff and clutch are both from The Vintage Contessa.  If you are in the Houston area, you simply must go.  The vast array of bags and accessories is nothing short of phenomenal and second to none.
